Greensboro is home to seven colleges, including Guilford College and University of North Carolina. The gay nightlife in Greensboro tends to be centered around the college crowd, but the bars are great centers of sociability and community. The university has a very active LGBT group and the Triad community has a burgeoning pride celebration. You'll find quite a few people, though not all, are out and proud in Greensboro.
