The Community Theatre of Greensboro continues its 65th main stage season with Lorraine Hansberry’s iconic masterpiece, A Raisin in the Sun. This groundbreaking play revolves around the divergent dreams and conflicts within three generations of the Younger family. The play confronts the tensions and prejudice they face, mixed with the sacrifice, trust and love among the family and their heroic struggle to retain dignity in a harsh and changing world “Raisin” is a searing and timeless document of hope and inspiration.

Opening Night Reception, February 13th- Celebrate opening night of A Raisin in the Sun! Meet the cast, enjoy live music, and have a drink on us! The reception will take place in The Studio directly after the 8:00 PM show on February 13th. Free admission for opening night audience members!
Pay What You Can Performances, February 19th and 26th- Staying true to our mission of providing outstanding theatre “for the community, and by the community.” We will offer two “pay what you can” performances. Cash or check donations only, please.
School Performance, February 18th- CTG will present a special daytime performance for educational groups on February 18th, 2015 at 10:00 am. At this performance, CTG offers students, teachers and chaperones a discounted rate of $9 per ticket.
PIANO BAR, February 28th - 10:30 PM-1:00 AM- Join the cast, crew, creative team, and local artists in The Studio at CTG for live vocals, drinks, and fun! Listen to others or bring your sheet music and strut your stuff! Free admission!
